TANDEM

Due to a restricted budget, we decided to buy the tandem with the best performance/price ration. As the race-road tandems are quite expensive (import from the States rises the prizes around 1.5 times), we choose rather a city-bike tandem that we equiped with racing.
The "Drive Me TdS" was the right choice
We bought our tandem by Wysam-Cycles in Orbe, where you can try one. If you pass there saluate Sam for us!
 

Tandem Drive Me TdS the standart tandem - rigid Aluminium frame - Shimano LX, 3 plates and 9 speeds

Modifications: our tandem - white color - take off all useless equipment (lights,...) - 2 race saddles - 2 speedometers - 2 pair of Shimano pedals - 2 slick tires - supressed the brake for the rear cyclist

Result :
- a rigid tandem
- can pass on any pavement (even some stones)
- relatively light : 18 kg (39.6 lbs)
- a little lost in speed due to the wheels (35mm)
